This course focuses on the biography of the 14 Ma’soomin from the pure household of the holy Prophet saww. It begins with an introduction about Islam as a universal religion and takes you through the lifestyle, noble morals and virtues of each individual.

The holy Qur’an is God’s Message to us; thus, it is imperative to understand this Message. Surah Al-Baqarah is known as the pinnacle and the shelter of the Holy Qur’an. It is also the longest Surah. Considered the summary of the entire Qur’an it contains ‘the Sign of the Throne’ (Ayatul-Kursi), the ranking of man as ‘the vicegerent of God on earth’ as well as many jurisprudential laws. Nahjul-Balagha known as ‘Peak of Eloquence’ is the most famous collection of sermons, letters and words of wisdom attributed to Imam Ali (as). The focus of this course is an interpretation to one of the most famous sermons of Imam Ali (as) where he describes ‘the pious people’. Sh. Mansour in his unique style has applied phrases of the sermon to our modern world and shows his audience how to gain piety in the age of materialism.

The most profound knowledge of the holy Ma’soomin is reflected in their supplications and communication with the Almighty Allah. Du’a Kumayl is one of the most famous supplications of Imam Ali (as). It is regarded as one of the living miraculous words of the Imam. This course will take you to a deeper understanding of Islam through an intimate communication with God.
